I haven’t shared it broadly, but I popped back into New York and have been here to celebrate Christmas and New Years with my family. I love my family a lot. Particularly my two little nieces that are a light on my life.
Since I’ve been back I’ve gotten a few questions a bunch
- WHAT’S IT LIKE? TELL ME ALL ABOUT IT!
- WHATS NEXT?
- ARE YOU GOING BACK?
- HOW ARE YOU MAKING MONEY
In short, it’s like moving to any other place in the world, but it’s another place in the world-different language and culture. It’s hard. It can be lonely. Everyone has their journey and I’ve sure had a different one than most of my friends. Next–I’m heading back. Next Friday I ship out back to Medellín. I’m not sure how long I’ll stay planted, but I’ll stay as long as it feels right. I’m not bolted down to Medellin. There’s a lot of LatAm to explore.
I make money by working on remote consulting gigs with clients. Generally in product, marketing and business strategy. These are my three main areas. TBH, if I need to clean dishes or serve drinks I’ll do that too.
My priority right now is experiences in cultures. Traveling is the best way to support that.
