We all make choices we regret. Looking back, if we could do them differently we would. I hope the DNC’s Debbie Wasserman Schultz feels that tonight as she considers how she played with democracy and used her position as the organizer of one of the worlds most powerful democracies to put her friend into a position to run.

It angered me that DWS was making these decisions then and it angers me now.

But what’s wild to me is that our rulebook has gone out of the door. The party leadership took unprecedented steps away from ordinary and the powers that be had nothing to say.

Nothing other than, oh, you’re just a bernie-bro.

That ambivalence to the opinion of others just cost America a progressive century.

It’s already begun.
