Angela’s decision making framework

My Toronto friend Angela Chen shared the following decision making framework during the ideas marketplace at Startingbloc. I’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas about what you might add or focus on.

First, get foundational knowledge of systems – we need people who understand the system to challenge the system.

Second, know yourself. When you are outcomes focused, you forget to understand motivations and values. Being intentional is a requirement for sustainable impact.

Third, build coalitions, find collaborators and cheerleaders.

Finally, place your impact thesis within a rising tide. Often, a change in tangent spaces like in policy or in technology can push your impact idea into the mainstream.
