The busier my week, the further I am from working on my goals that week. I’m going to scale my schedule back. At present I’m doing a breakfast meeting once daily, an evening event and a full workday in between. Starting next week I’ll limit myself to two breakfast meetings a week and commit to at least 4 nights free for the dojo.
Having my evenings allows me to train. When I train I feel better, stronger and most importantly on the way to my goals. Having time after training allows me to reflect and to write. It allows me space to read, clean and freshen up my living space. More time in the morning makes the rush less cumbersome, opens up time for meditation…maybe even some stretching.
Today, the less I do, the more present I can be. To do more in the long run, I’m going to relax and take it easy today.
